Healing our Soil, Healing our Gut

25/09/2025

Weather

After Wednesday’s double trigon in earth constellations with moon in the constellation of the Virgin, bringing clear and crisp nights and bright days into this early manifestation of this early Indian Summer weather, with a feel of snow in the air in Sussex, we are under the influence of a high-pressure area.

Expect a small chance of rain over this weekend and then more sunny weather settling in for at least the whole of next week through the first week of October with some very low temperatures down to 5-6º centigrade and higher than normal day temperatures right up to 19º centigrade.

Humus Formation and Silica

The importance of silica for the humus formation in our soils and its presence in our

semi-permeable membranes in living organisms like in the gut or the blood brian barrier is indispensable.

Our soils need to be replenished with Carbon and Silica every year .

1 m2 of soil needs per year 1kg  or 1 ½ liters (1 spade full) of compost to replenish

the carbon lost in a temperate climate.

1 m2 of soil needs per year 1 gram of Silica to replenish it as we take it away with

our vegetables.

How to Replenish Organic Matter and Silica?

With one green manure crop per year of mustard, spinach, phacelia, oats or rye

and vetch, we can accumulate sufficient organic matter to replenish the loss of Carbon.

It is the backbone for healthy soil structure.

The best stage for digging in materials is when the plants are going towards the flower. That’s when the plants concentrate silica and carbon in their fibre and have the best carbon to nitrogen ratio for composting.

To augment the bio-availability of Silica, we spray the horn silica preparation.

This helps plants to absorb silica distributed in homeopathic quantities in the air.

It also helps the plant to trans-substantiate Calcium into Silica in its living tissue.

The horn silica preparation will bring mineralised silica back into a bio-available form.

What are the benefits for the Soil?

When we are able to supply plenty of organic material sufficiently rich in Silica and Carbon, found in the fibre, in cellulose and lignin, the soil organisms are able to build stable base saturated humus.

Stable base saturated humus is responsible for protecting the plants from droughts, the uptake of heavy metals and other toxins.

It also provides an ample store of nutrients for mycorrhiza and other micro-organisms to supply to the plants when needed.

In 1979 experiments made with inoculation of mycorrhiza in soils growing maize, the nutrient content of most nutrients in the shoots was either 50-100% increased.

This is what we can achieve with our biodynamic field preparations and compost preparations to an even higher degree in my opinion, as it promotes soil born enhancement of micro-organism growth that then enhances our mouth and gut biome, leading to a resonance with our natural environment and more wellbeing on all levels.

Benefits of Silica In the Plants:

The latest research in the protective nature of Silica for plants shows:

Leaves of plants with silica exposure contain higher amounts of chlorophyll,

who’s production is impaired by ozone pollution and high UVA, UVB and cosmic radiation (and soon 5G) helps plants fight disease and pests

Silica helps to build strong cell walls against fungal hyphae penetration and it induces the formation of a silica cuticle double layer under the leaf epidermis which reduces water losses through cuticular transpiration and helps the plant to absorb nutrients.

It promotes an alkalizing effect in metal-heavy soil, thereby decreasing the concentration of heavy metals in the soil and fighting off metal toxicity and ultimately, improves crop yield

Benefits of Silica in Humans:

According to several researchers, silica can help to alleviate in humans, chronic illness including mental illness:

The main contributing factors for the immense increase in these illnesses is the breakdown

of the light communication system through the compromised connective tissue, the broken tight junctions

between cells and the permeability of gut lining, blood vessels and blood-brain barrier.

Biophoton research and food quality

Silica has been identified as the main contributor to concentrate light into plants.

Our body’s cells emit a radiation of “light” – called “biophotons.” The more light a plant absorbs the higher the light frequency and biophoton coherence factor. This can be measured in BOVI.

Conventional food:  2-3000 BOVI      Organic food:  5-8000 BOVI           Biodynamic Food: 15-18000 BOVI

Biodynamic Food grown with Sacred Geometry, Master Crystals and meditation on irrigation line: 180-240000 BOVI

(Please note this goes far beyond nutrient density, which is very limiting in defining food quality, see video link below)

Benefits of Silica

It can boost bone density, improve hair, all semi-permeable membranes (including gut lining),

and nail quality. It stabilizes collagen synthesis for supple joints and helps stabilize the pancreas’s release of insulin!

And last but not least: it helps to strengthen the connective tissues of the brain, nerve cells, and spinal cord thereby improving memory and helps to prevent memory loss and enhancing the “fibre-optic” light communication system in the body.

As you can see with a bit of care for our soils, plants and other living organisms they can be protected from environmental stressers by us being pro-active enhancing humus formation with green manuring and horn manure preparation and improving the protective qualities for living organisms through the horn silica preparation applications.
