How could we work with this prolonged drought?
Old Austrian Tradition
If you have any open soil between plants in the Austrian tradition Victor Schauberger (see in “Living Water”book) discovered that farmers stirred a handful of clay into the Barrel filled with rain water and hummed the octave of musical scales into the water while stirring it vortex fashion as we would stir the horn manure or horn silica preparation.
They would then leave the water in the barrel and the pizo-electric effect of the clay interacting with the water would restore the energetic and protective layer around two feet above ground level to transform the harmful cosmic radiation into beneficial growth energy.

R. Steiner allured in the Agriculture Lectures to explore that preparation in the future.
Other ways to making plants more resistant to drought
Horn Manure and Valerian Preparation
Use the Horn Manure Preparation 3 consecutive days in the evening together with a few drops of Valerian preparation and stir it into the barrel the last 10 minutes before finishing with the horn manure preparation.
Dr. Koepf found in the Biodynamic research in Michael Institute in Wisconsin, USA that these two preparations together increase the tap root growth accessing water reserves in greater depth of the soil.

Horn Manure and Horn Silica Preparation
Use the Horn Manure Preparation 3 consecutive with or without Valerian preparation and follow up with applying the Horn Silica Preparation three consecutive evenings after that.
This supposedly reverses the plants metabolism and it doesn’t evaporate as much moisture in the day.
I have used it very successfully in a CSA/market garden of 3 acres in Connecticut, USA to prevent thousands of lettuces from bolting, when all around everyone’s lettuces were bolting after 6 weeks of drought and on sandy soils.
